The name
Noor means light.
In Arabic, noor means light. Add a little nourishment and you get Noorish: better snacks and drinks designed to leave you feeling lighter, brighter and properly fuelled.
It's also a nod to where we're from. Noorish was born in the UAE, inspired by a place that's always moving, and the belief that wherever your day takes you, better choices should never be far away.
Why we started
The vending machine hasn't changed much. Your snack standards have.
The usual crisps. The usual chocolate. The usual sugary drinks.
We kept the convenience and changed everything behind the glass.
What we believe
- Healthy is the substance.
Real ingredients, sensible sugar, protein where it helps. We read every label so you can just grab and go.
- Fun is the brand.
Snacking should be a small joy in your day, not homework. If it isn't delicious, it isn't Noorish.
- Convenience is the product.
Better choices are only useful if they're where you are. So we put them in your office, your school, your gym, your clinic, your lobby.
- Zero lecture.
We'll never tell you what to eat. Sometimes the right snack is a protein bar. Sometimes it's chocolate. Both are in the machine.
- Discovery matters.
We hunt for new and emerging brands, especially local ones, and let our community decide what stays.
